Why??? Yes it could have been worse. I don't mind Marie as a guest host. But everyday? I probably won't watch as often. Plus, what were they thinking? The panel is getting older! Whatever happened to trying out for the panel? When Holly and Leah left, Sheryl and Aisha were only two of several ladies that guest hosted before they were announced as hosts. Then the same when Aisha left. Eve won the job. But Marie just gets handed the job? Not in favor of her hiring.

Good point about the panel getting older. Didn’t think of that. Jodie Sweetin is in her late 30’s and would have been a better choice.

Anyone would have been better than Marie Osmond! I hope that they don't regret hiring her for such a flimsy reason. "Her appearance had an uptick in ratings." What about all of the other time she appeared? Was there a ratings surge then too?

I didn’t know much about Brigitte Nielsen besides being an actress and dating Flavor Flav but I like what I’ve seen of her. She should replace Carnie as the go-to fill-in.

I guess they did regret hiring her or maybe she regretted taking the job? I didn't have any strong feelings about her one way or the other but wish her the best on whatever she does next.

I'd like to see either Brigitte Nielsen or Jodie Sweetin as her replacement.

I read that a replacement will be announced later in the fall. Just bring them on for the first show back and be done with it, I say.

Carnie fills in a lot so I don’t understand why they didn’t hire her full-time but what’s done is done. I’m willing to give Marie a chance. She seems nice enough and has hosting experience.

Will she be the moderator or will Carrie Ann? I’d prefer Carrie Ann personally.

That explains why Sharon gave that poorly worded statement about the rumors on last Friday's show. She's been a conniving backstabber for years. Not buying Sheryl was involved. That's where the blind item lost me.

I don't believe that about Sheryl either. She doesn't seem like the underhanded type like Sharon.
