Hans blasting the Christian music is HILARIOUS

The uplifting "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" is a funny contrast with the situation they were in.

Plus Hans' expression of just another day at work.

I felt really sorry for the troll at that point.

I agree! Funniest scene in the movie, made me LOL!

Watching with english subtitles i lost it when i read the song lyrics!!

Yes, that was a funny moment in an otherwise semi-serious film overall.

I must not have a great sense of humor. How on earth did you find this funny?

Jesus might be your friend, but he's apparently a bit patchy in Norway

I'm sure the Christian who bit it felt a tad betrayed a bolt of lightning or something didn't take the troll out that got him.

And I'm pretty sure the trolls don't find Jesus their friend.
Though I did read an interesting story on Loki where he's Jesus. The author's done a couple books on Loki & both are interesting.

This isn't Wall Street-this is Hell. We have a little something called integrity-Crowley

Yeah, they was awesome. I loved all the religious winks and pokes.

Just watched it 1st time a few minutes ago. Agreed that part was hysterical! I don't understand how people treat this movie as if it is supposed to be a serious and somber film. The tone was mostly comical with hints of fun creature peril and cool ideas about troll mythology. Some pretty decent effects. A great crocodile hunter mystery man who is the trollmaster. It was just a really fun and entertaining film.

How about those guys getting the wrong kind of bear haha??

Yah' made me lol for sure. But, my favorite moment was just after that when he picked up the gang again after the battery went out and turns it back on again, seeing the giant roar at them - he turns to the camera inside the car and says, "Definitely rabies."
I can watch that scene a thousand times and still laugh as hard as the first time. :D
