Lisa, Dave and Rick

Why was Lisa acting like such a sissy when Dave decided to go home? She was saying "I don't want to lose you as a friend", was that her attempt to get him to stay?

Why did Dave even bother to come out here if he was just going to quit before making a full run? Dave seems to be a hard-working, grind it out kind of guy, but quitting so early makes him seem like just that; a quitter.

Same goes for Rick. He's hilarious, and his bromance with Hugh is quite enjoyable to watch. It's unfortunate to see him go so early as well. He just needs to develop some patience.
