I just heard that Anime Works is going to release the anime Shinryaku! Ika Musume in the US in just eleven days so we must get them to cancel the US release of this anime and just focus on grim and gritty anime like Berserk and Crying Freeman instead of cutesy stuff like this.

Why? This show is great, one of very, very few anime shows I actually like.
EDIT: Actually, might as well cancel the Squid Girl releases until Anime Works get some sense and use covers that can actually HOLD the discs, man, it's like old Funimation releases. Disc 2 oin my copy was scratched to hell, never seen a disc scratched that bad, so F Anime Works.
Why? If you have a problem with it then don't watch it. Pretty simple. We shouldn't have to abide by your narrow opinions.
By the way, Squid Girl is awesome.
I agree - this series may not be the most tentacular ever created, but it`s a nice break from guns/sword-blasts/fanservice/etc. (not that I`m averse to these in moderation).
FYI starting a thread to try & cancel a release in favour of a series you prefer isn`t going to win someone a lot of fins, if I were them I`d ink carefully before posting similar in the future as it just comes across as petty & shellfish bullsquid.
