crap

all the hype for what looks like ps2 material?

good job i only rented this junk.

Disagree. Its a massive game - a rental can't do it justice.

Glad you rented it. We don't need rookies online.

It was a huge dissapointment considering the long production time, and also because i feel that GT-4 had a better single-player experience. But its still one of the finest racers of this generation.

I respectfully disagree with the notion of it being crap.

I do have some minor gripes about the game though. I think the game is too biased towards the Japanese brands of cars and there seems to be fewer numbers of american cars, and fewer GOOD american models for that matter. Also, some of the models are way too outdated to be in GT5. A 1998 Taurus SHO???? There is a new SHO that's been out for 2 years, why not have that one? a 1971 Mach 1??? Any '68-'70 Mustang would have been a better choice there. Also should have had some classic Pontiacs as a good memory to the brand.

I also feel like they could have done a better representation for the Mustangs, Camaros and Corvettes. They are able to put 850,000 models of the Miata, the 3000GT, the S2000, and the Evo, but they can only get barely 3 Mustangs, 2 Camaros, and 4 Corvettes?

My only other gripe is that not all the cars are rendered with the interior dash view (awesome feature), but that's only on the new cars, and only a select few cars overall. All of the cars should be given that treatment.

I don't regret getting this game at all; but there's always room for improvement.

Did you guys notice that after the updates, the cockpit view was moved forward in a more Forza 3 style? I thought that sucked. Or is it just me?
