A *beep* version of Bend it Like Beckham, even the same guy is playing the dad lol. Things in England are different and plus the Bend it person being a girl made the story make more sense and be more plausible. I don't know any Indian parents in Canada who'd be against there kid pursuing a sport, HOCKEY no less particularly a guy.

I'm guessing the movie ends with the guy getting everything he wants the his parents just gotta bend over and take it, cuz of course there the bad/wrong ones

Well actually I know plenty of Indian parents in Canada who would prefer their child go to school and get a real job rather than trying to play a sport.

Nonetheless, I agree that this movie looks kinda stupid.
