Just finished and loved Borgia, especially Mark Ryder & Isolda Dychauk!

So, just finished the 3rd and final season on Netflix, and really enjoyed Borgia. I understand it's very subjective and won't argue with those that preferred the Showtimes series, "The Borgias". I tried a few episodes of it and just couldn't get into it. This version fascinated me from the first episode. I admit it was little bit of an adjustment getting used to John Doman's American accent at first, but by the end of the 1st episode, I didn't even notice anymore. The cinematography, the acting, the action and dialogue was all interesting and fun to watch. I also understand that historically, it was pretty accurate overall, but time frames were loosely interpreted. I especially loved the chemistry between Mark as Cesare and Isolda as Lucrezia. Their scenes together were intense, sexy and provocative. I just wish they would have had more scenes. (Spoiler) I also found it interesting that they chose to end the series with a little "what-if scenario", suggesting the possibility that Cesare faked his own death, and started a new life in the Americas. Finally, I would love to see Mark and/or Isolda in future projects, either separately, or especially together!

I first watched Borgia. Mark Ryder was superb. I felt the storyline was very close to the books I have read. The ending, I was in tears. I felt the series great. Have also gone back several times.
I next watched The Borgia's. From the start the storyline was confusing.
