I had to walk away from the movie to take care of some things and found out that..... SPOILER below!

Nick's real wife died. What happened? I saw a scene where some lady from the yoga studio ran into Laura and was talking about the accident, but I missed it. Waaah. LOL

Laura killed her, in a 'negligent' way if I recall correctly. They were arguing in the elevator, and her pack got caught as the elevator moved.
His wife is hung, and starts to struggle. Laura decides not to help, and lets her die.

"I'd say this cloud is Cumulo Nimbus."
"Didn't he discover America?"
"Penfold, shush."
