from what i read, it took 5 years to make this movie, and cost about 100,000,000 pesos to make, but made no more than 20,000,000 only (gross) in box office.
this is almost a guarantee that they won't make a movie like this again.
making a filipino worth P100 million is a suicide, even if your distributor is abs-cbn.
