a few rough patches but not bad
If nothing else, it really kept the suspense throughout the film.
There are a few rough patches - a few parts where it was difficult to suspend disbelief - for example the part where she didn't part ways with the vet, even though the timing and the coincidence was all a bit too much to take in, an agent is trained to spot such oddities.
Michael Douglas leaning over in one scene was also horribly staged - him being another trained agent with decades of experience, yet making that all too common mistake akin to a stereotypical villain.
Basically, there are a lot of these inconsistencies which plague the film - but there are also some awesome scenes which lack these problems.
Still, those poorly written bits take away quite a lot from this film and prevent it from being great.
Ah, this could have been an awesome film. Anyways - I'd give it a 6.5 just for the thrill and suspense you experience throughout the film, but I am disappointed with those poorly written bits which totally missed the mark.
