Did she keep the cat?

At the end Vaughn had a big duffel bag with him and she takes it when she leaves. Was the cat in that bag? If not, what was in it? Or did she just leave it when she left?

I think it would be pretty crappy of her to leave the cat. Since Vaughn's dead now, I doubt anyone is going to give it a home. They'd probably just kill it to get it out of the way or it would die of starvation in that house. Plus, I would think that the cat was somewhat of a companion to her and that she wouldn't want to just leave it to fate.

The cat was probably still at the "facility," and Eden probably thought it was unsafe going back there.
So the cat probably died.
