shareBeen a while since I've seen this film but after 2 years later, it was confirmed that everything happened to Kim... was phony.
I really liked this film as well... the horrors of Sex Slavery. But Kim knew this, wrote a book on it (Auto-biography), and tried to make Millions off from her Fictional story. Some people would do anything for money... including making fake claims about your bs life.
Yeah, the breaking out organisation did an investigation on her and found her school records and year book pictures for the time she says she was captive, but as far as I know there hasn't been any legal follow up to prosecute her for fraud and she's still pimping herself out as a survivor giving lectures on her fictional ordeal and taking payment for it.
disturbing. People want her story to be true to the point of ignoring that it's fake.
