Why I love this movie

First of all, let me say I can understand the view of the critics, both professional and amateur (i.e. viewers like you). I agree that the story, acting, and certainly the CGI leave something to be desired. But that's not why I love this movie. No. I love it because of the spirit of it. That indescribable something that comes together every once in a great while when people work together in any endeavour. For me this movie is all about the people in it, and that's what I love about it.

The movie was actually better than I expected. I tried not judging it based on the fact it was SyFy channel material. I gave it a 5/10.

I thought despite an over abundance of texture mapping instead of a good cgi model of the creature, it looked okay in most scenes.

What usually saves most of these movies is the attractiveness of the actresses, and that's what I liked about this film more than anything else.
