The first season (Part 1) on Netflix is obviously two seasons combined. Once you watch episode 13, The Battle of Two Bridges, it's quite clear that it was meant to be a season finale w/ episode 14-26 being Season 2, or Part 2.

Yea they are clearly two separate arcs themselves with separate background stuff too.
Episodes 1-13 feature Bular and has Jim and Claire doing Romeo and Juliet play.
Episodes 14-26 feature Angor Rot and has Jim competing for Spring Fling king and trying to find the Triumbric stones.
Plus 13 episodes is the standard Netflix season for shows like this too.

I felt sth changed after Ep13 coz it was like another beginning. Didn't know the other half was S2.
Shame, such great show. Would really love to see what happens next with that black armor and Darkland and *beep*
