Jessica Lal murder case

The movie is inspired on the murder case of the model that happened way back in 1999. Whether or not the movie will present other details in fact or fiction, remains to be seen. I hope the movie will give a fresh and honest insight in to the plot.

I'm also eager to see if the movie has taken a different and alternative route than the movies 'Aakrosh', 'Damimi' and 'Halla bol' did.

What I have to say, by no means, has anything to do with the movie itself.
Jessica is summed up as a model, but she was also a bartender. I wonder why the movie only promots Jessica has this model, but I can only assume bartending is not the status quo.

As for the movie, I am watching it right now. I can't believe the story that's being told in the movie so far. I'm sure the story will change of what happened as more witnesses come foward to tell it. Personally, I don't know anything about this case. Maybe, I was too young to remember. But right now, there in the bar and I just don't get why the didn't give that guy the damn drink! He should have been escorted right away when he wouldn't take no for an answer.

The case continued for a period of 6 years. It was difficult to locate witnesses. Some were unwilling to come forward and a few were deterred away from testifying.

Her main occupation was being a model. So that's how she was portrayed. I found the murder scene quiet lame by standards. She has a automatic weapon aimed at her and she is repeatedly says "put the gun down...put the gun down....put the gun down" in a angry manner.

Maybe that is the way it was told, so that's the only way to show how it happened, with her having to repeatedly plead for him to put the gun down. It's all mind-boggling. I have 30 more minutes left of the movie to watch, because I didn't watch it all the other day. Does the movie portray the case well?

I think the movie portrayed the case in honest ways. Most of the case that I researched on was already on youtube, so I knew what to expect. The names of some characters were changed. For example the prime witness and the accused had different names. Even Vidya Balan was wearing glasses, when the real sabrina never wore them.

I don't know why but I got the feeling after watching this movie that they wanted to protect the people who were related to the guilty son. Even the accused parent's had little scope especially since they were the main players who were hindering sabrina's attempts

it seems to me from the movie that the parents had money which equals power, if you have alot. that money is still protecting them. I liked the ending.. I'm so glad that justice came out in the end because it's better late than never.
