shareConsidering this movie was made in Spain, I really don't know how you came to that conclusion. Unless you're the kind of person who lumps all Spanish-speaking peoples together...
Also, it's kind of sad that all of the found footage films that come out as of late are always compared to these two films (Blair Witch and Paranormal). These films hardly set the stage for the found footage genre (84 Charlie MoPic and Man Bites Dog came out years before these films did). And there are tons on the market that are much better than these two films (The Troll Hunter and Noroi, for example). Unless you're just trying to be witty and original. In which case, don't.
I liked Cloverfield better then this as well. I enjoy first person POV movies. This film was ok... The only real gripe I have is that the film makers REALLY pad this film's running time with bushes, bushes & more bushes. Nighttime in the labyrinth is confusing... And they RAM this point home by running, walking, strolling, moseying, sprinting and crawling through the woods.
Anyway...
I liked the film, because I like "found footage" movies. But this one is not among the best. I wouldn't recommend it.
