Saga, we will miss you!

We started watching season one this summer and have been hooked ever since.
Tomorrow it will be the end of the third season.
It is sad,so sad but we will have to try to servive without you, for hopefully just two years.
Take care and we will think about you every day till we see you again!

I can't be bothered to have a sig any-more.

I assume you're in Sweden? Come to Britain! We've just had the first four episodes of the third series so you can gorge yourself some more. I too will miss her when it's over. Such a finely drawn character.

I will download it and then start all over with season one again.
This season is the best and I almost envy you.
But don't read the spoilers here!

Well, everyone sees things differently but, frankly, I thought this season was the worst. Overly complicated, unresolved plot, but I don't watch this series for the plot. I watch it for Saga, and this season she just seemed so much more angry and mean than in the first two seasons. What I used to like about her was her innocence, she seemed genuinely confused by things that would be run-of-the-mill experiences for others, and of course Martin trying to socialize her.

I understand Martin did not want to reprise his role, that's fine, and I have no problem with bringing in a replacement who might be considered 180 degrees different. But Saga, to me, was transformed into an unpleasant, unsympathetic, angry character who happened to have a hint of AS. Maybe this is a more complicated level of AS, and I don't doubt Sofia's ability to portray a complicated character, I just didn't enjoy watching this season nearly as much as the prior two.

I agree about the plot being to much. There is no way one person could have done that in that short time.
But the thing about Saga, I liked it! She run away in a young age and had to take care of herself and sister. She then started working for Hans who understod her and protected her. Then she met Martin and had her first friend. The everything happened with Martin and she let him down, in a way, twice and there was only Hans again. Then Hans was gone, the new boss didn't understand her, a new partner and all the stuff with her mother....
She broke down and she could not handle it. I was in a way hoping that she would kill herself, coz it would have been realistic.
At the end she got help from Henrik and she accepted him and "forgave" him for the drog abuse.

I can't be bothered to have a sig any-more.

To each his own, I guess.

I found Saga to be at her most unlikeable in season 2, where she seemed at times almost intentionally cruel to Rasmus and her live-in boyfriend Jakob. In season 3, she seemed to return more to being uninentionally mean because of her social ineptitude. But I admit that a big part of my sympathy in the third season steems from feeling sorry for her, as she gets so many problems and heartbreak thrown at her.

I tried to explain to a friend who doesn't watch Bron-Broen and never has...what it's like when the first strains of the theme song begin with that evocative shot of the bridge, the night lights..the song...

...chills and thrills start like the excitement of Christmas, your birthday and New Year's all rolled into one! :-)))))))))))))))))))))

When the first strains of that song begin, you sit back and sigh with relief that the long drought since we last met Saga and that song...are over!

Needless to say, my friend was unimpressed. Guess you had to be there...

The opening is pretty darn great, one of my favorites.

Saga annoyed the sh ite out of me to begin with. But I've been won over and am now a little in love with her character. She's just so adorably innocent. Actually she reminds me a lot of a Sim.

I can totally relate...watching each one is a treat. I guess you have to be hooked on the show though. I wasn't sure about it after the first show, the body cut like that, pretty gorey but I'm so glad I watched the next one, I was hooked after that, what a great show. I love the opening scenes and the night shots. The scenery makes me want to go there and the theme song made me look it up. It's actually classified under electronic music. Anyway, it all rocked! I hope there's a season four.
