UK version!!!

I've seen the original Swedish/Danish one, the US version, and now the UK version is on my local PBS station ans Amazon video.

We have a version?! Why?! Can people not just read the damn subtitles?!

It's called the Tunnel and it's actually a UK/French co production so there are still quite a few subtitles!

Unlike the American version, The Tunnel is actually quite good.

the first season was almost exactly the same as bron/broen apart from it being set in the channel tunnel (the english parts were filmed in and around my home town of Folkestone, many of my friends were extras).

the second season was great television, a new story but easily as good as the first season of the danish/swedish original.

I couldn't get to season 2, is it worth skipping the rest of season 1 and just starting with 2?
