If they couldn't find any Americans to star in this movie, it seems they should have found people who could imitate an American accent if they are going to set it in the US.....
Or people who would maintain one accent. The British accents would appear in one scene, then be gone the next LOL. The best part is that the sheriff's daughter with the strongest British accent(who is probably the same age as the actress playing her "mother") says to her Native American uncle "Our ancestors fought and died for this land!".
I've been to many countries that were once British colonies, they sound Brit to me, but ask them and that say no, they are not. They are S. African, India, etc, even the Australian in some instance sound a bit similar. So what MAY sound British to 'you', may not really be British.
Whatever. The actors are Brits. They sounded like Brits and they were not supposed to be Indian, South African or Australian, they were supposed to be Native American. Native Americans don't sound even a little bit Brit.
Btw Aussies don't sound Brit at all.

I don't think it's embarrassing for him since Raoul Trujillo is the only one from the US out of the main cast. The actors who play the sheriff, his ex wife, and his daughter are all from the UK. His point isn't void just cause you can cherry pick one actor out of the bunch.
Oh my gosh, I know! I mean it seems a little silly to be complaining when the movie is so bad overall...but that was like the nail in the coffin. I mean, make an effort!
Seriously. Emilia Clarke's attempt at an American accent was so bad I thought we'd be getting some detail of one of her parents being English or of her spending a decade in Britain or something. Bad enough to be entertaining, though.
