Really? The plot was to escape the gang of misogynist rapists and find safety? Really? I've seen spaghetti zombie flicks that were ten times better and didn't rely on the naked chick being stabbed for shock value.
Bad make-up, bad acting, bad sound effects, and who the hell forgets to close a gate during a zombie apocalypse? One star.
I have never understood the whole rape/attempted rape scenarios in Zombie movies...
This one takes the cake, with raping a ZOMBIE... i didnt even know how to respond to that scene.

My main issue was why did we have to see the prolonged rape and mutilation scene that was inacted by the victimised man with learning disabilities?
About five seconds after they are all wasted by the T.A soldier tracking them. I mean the scene just felt like it could have been totally avoided, it was pretty grim and abhorent.
When the gang were wasted it felt even more redundant.
There's actually 2 rape scenes...the attempted rape of the zombie wasn't so bad (she still had her panties on when they pulled him off of her, so not sure WHAT he was trying to do). Not trying to be a prude, but the rape and cold murder of the hispanic soldier was just...unnecessary, & didn't belong in a movie like this.

I agree -- it was like they decided, "Hey let's throw a gratuitous and ultra-sadistic rape scene in and flash some nipples for the previews -- that'll sell tickets". Yech.

It would probably happen. Sick as it seems there probably would be some sick puppies willing to rape a recently dead and reanimated corpse. Zombie movies are about societal breakdown and there would certainly be some very anti-social personalities roaming about like packs of rodents.
Despite that, yes the movie was pretty badly executed and the rape scenes were put there to pad out this non-plot mess of a movie.
