So let me get this straight. That leader chick was an arcane spell caster (probably a sorcerer, didn't see any books), divine spell caster (healing magic), and sword fighter (the fight in the town). She would need to be nearly level 20, meanwhile the barbarian dies from poison (Fortitude saving throw, lol), so that makes him like level 5. She could have done it all herself.

She was a Shadar-Kai witch which is a near human race that lives on pain and suffering.

The barbarian was a Goliath Barbarian hence just a large human with no magic and he was given a full dose of a very potent poison.
