A party of evil characters?

That's a pretty original take. I liked it.

I didn't quite understand the ending though. Clearly Grayson is not a "good guy". He murdered his fellow party member is cold blood, denied mercy to the assassin, betrayed every vow he had, the zombie child determined he had no goodness in his heart, and seemed to live only for revenge. Yet he still managed to have some sort of divine favor with his god? How's that work? It seemed like his strength of character allowed him to use the amulet, but is there really no requirement to actually be a good person? I don't know, that part confused me. Everything else was pretty good. The undead child, the dragon, the awesome plague priest guy.

The child had said "oooh you've done some bad things..." meaning that although yes he had betrayed many of his beliefs he did so to say his father ("to a greater cause, father!"). I think the fact that such a pure character had started to fall so hard was what made it especially delectable to her.
