I loved this movie!

Reminds me of 'The Love Letter' and 'The Lake House'. Excellent acting throughout. Thank you Hallmark Channel.

I enjoyed it also! I was also thinking how much it reminded me of 'The Love Letter' and 'The Lake House'.

I have to admit this is driving me crazy. Wasn't the town of Seabrooke used in another Hallmark movie? The name sounded so familiar. Maybe I just watch too many Hallmark movies. lol

reply

Seabrook does sound familiar. With so many Hallmark movies made over the years you could be right.

I did a quick search and I think we might have been thinking of Seabrook, NC where 'The Notebook' couple first met?

reply

Maybe that is where I recognize it from. One of my favorite movies ever! Thanks Bringbackwriting for taking the time to look that up. =)

The note in the fireplace was so like The Lakehouse that I didn't enjoy the first 1/3 of the movie. And I kept wanting Brian to give Nora the locket by putting it in the box. I wish they didn't communicate that way, it just came across as a rip off of Lakehouse. But the movie completely redeems itself. Great movie.

Great movie -- but I floved The Lakehouse --Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves have exceptional chemistry -- kinda wish Sandy and him would've got together, but she's dating Ryan Reynolds another actor she has great chem w/from The Proposal...I understand though that earlier during Sandy's breakup w/Jesse (when she first found out about his sleazy cheating w/I mean disgusting women)that Reeves was like one of the main visitors to come see her right away--they are great friends and he said that she is such a wonderful person who deserves so much more bc she so graceful...

Both actors admitted mutual crushes on Ellen a few years back. However I found The Lake House kind of dull, but that is me. However, I do like time travel genre films. I hope to see this one.

I saw it this afternoon and really loved it.
I debated whether I would want to see it, but then decided to spend a bit of time and am so glad I did now.
Refreshing indeed and loved in particular how it ended.

Saw it too just today and enjoyed every minute of it.
I loved the fantasy aspect of the movie, it was very interesting one to me, different time periods existing in the same space and affecting primarily the intimate lives of two persons and those involved with them.

It's a pity not too many people have seen this movie, as evidenced by the sparse posters in this board.

I turned it on only because I saw Rob Estes was in it (an old Melrose fan here). What a pleasant surprise, this movie was excellent. It had romance, sci-fi, suspense, good acting. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Rob Estes is a great actor. He should be in more things.

I loved it too! So much so that I've watched it twice! We're old Silk Stalkings fans!
