I know, right? I was so confused. Wasn't sure if kids these days had weird slang I'd never heard or if they just made it up for the movie. Lol.

Either or, in my wanderings around the UK I have heard slang for the word 'good' including 'bostin', 'weapon' 'mint' and 'bangin' amongst others.

I think it's just supposed to be a cute Canadian way of saying totally and nice (Tot(ally)em Pole, Nic(e)kel.) I've never heard it used before though. I was thinking maybe it was a western Canada thing but google brings no results save the obvious, so I think it's just made up.

Ya - Canadian here, and never heard of those colloquialisms.
I like them tho.
I will test them out and see if I can bring the to life eh?

The movie was just making fun of highschool kids having weird slang terms.
