Bonzo

I think I am one of the only people out there that really dug this movie. One of my only problems is this character. Since Ender's brother didn't make it into the program due to a propensity for violence, it seems unlikely that Bonzo would either. The only way he makes sense to me is if he had been placed into the program deliberately as another psychological test for Ender. I haven't read the book, so I don't know if thats something that was explored in more depth than in the film.

According to the book (WARNING: SPOILER AHEAD) Bonzo was on his way to being kicked out before Ender showed up. When Colonel Graff realized he could be useful in Ender's training he decided to keep Bonzo in battle school and let things happen.

Also, as I remember the book, his brother was a complete psychopath, brilliant but uncontrollably dangerous. In the book the Brother had a much bigger role carving out a path to power on Earth.
I think this is one of those films where everyone who loved the book hated the changes they made. Several years later, and several more since I read the book, it doesn't seem too bad a film.

Personally, I liked the movie.
