The first half was ok, I was distracted by Julia's over botoxed face. The party at the house, just too crazy. The son should have changed his date. Playing the guitar like that during the party was so rude. They seemed like spoiled brats at times. The kitchen scene, too comical. What family doesn't have a dog? Was expecting Rover to come and lick up the egg on the floor.
sharePoint being that they were all spoiled brats. Mom expected too much and tried to do too much and Dad and the boys just expected that if they ignored her she would do it as usual. A little over the top but the fact is that "expecting" Mom to do everything, stay-at-home or not, is unreasonable. Expecting Mom to see to it that everything runs smoothly but ignoring her requests and reminders is unreasonable. I wouldn't have gone on strike but I WOULD have chosen to do only what I wanted to do and let them know that if there was no help, they could arrange their own parties, get their cookies from the bakery, and after that stunt with the casserole, get their own meals.
