No Up-Rocking????

Even though Jimmy Castor Bunch, "Just Begun" was featured, at no point did anyone mention up-rocking/rocking. Right after the big truce in '71, when the dust settled, up-rocking took a big leap forward and was being done all over NYC. Kind of a way to do battle on the dance floor without coming to blows... Most of the time. Songs like "Apache", "The Mexican" and James Brown's "Sex Machine", were some of the up-rock anthems. Which by the way, is something else that's not mentioned: up-rock was break dancing's predecessor.

That should definitely have been in there.

There was always violence when I grew up. I admit, sometimes, I enjoyed it. However, when guys would throwdown by break dancing or freestyle rap battling, that was somethin else!
