His mom

I feel like his Moms treated him like a real mook. That's what I think. He needed to drop that old broad years ago and get out there on his own. Get himself a nice little flat out there in Holland, or wherever, and set things right. His physique is stellar, and he's a nice gentle soul, like my friend Cole Trickle, so he shouldn't have any problems finding himself a reasonable life companion. It's just that that old broad held him back, that's all.

She is creepy in a Norman Bates way. I love how the camera work plays up the difference in how huge he is, compared to his tiny, controlling mom. She also has privacy and boundary issues!

She's terrible and incredibly selfish. I wonder if she drove her husband away by trying to smother him...who knows if he was actually an alcoholic? I wouldn't be surprised if that was just another control tactic.

I think it went overboard in terms of what a guy like that would stand for. But it made for a cute story. I mean look at all the men he hung around, he must know about men, and sex tourism, he could not be so innocent with those huge tattoos and all that. So, it was an interesting story, but I think they pushed it too much on that account.
