A as in Awkward

This last episode was so awkward to watch. With Derick running around apologizing to people he has treated despicably to Reichen trying to flirt in Hawaii and creeping that kid from The Real World out. And then we get Rodiney's train wreck of a date with that poor girl. Yikes!

I really didn't think the show could sink lower than last season, but this season is dreadful and this episode was the worst.

On the nose with all of those things. How about Derek apologizing to Rodiney while he's changing his shirt, and rodiney's looking like "I know you're looking at this". Awkward.

reply

Haha yeah. I'm sure that Rodiney knows that Derick, or even Austin for that matter, would jump into bed with him if he even indicated any kind of interest toward them. Rodiney's beauty seems to trigger and magnify their own insecurities, otherwise they wouldn't attack him like piranhas.

Think about it - with all the hot guys in NYC, this is the best cast they could come up with? This is the best looking gay guys they could get?

Well, maybe enough guys said no to Bravo - not wishing to make a jackass out of themselves.

I doubt they did any real casting - they roped in Reichen and Mike Ruiz and they looped in the others. The casting call was probably smaller than Nyasha's talent.

reply

I love Ryan and Mike. I even admit to liking Austin. He's kind of his own worst enemy.

reply

I respect Mike, but I don't really like any of them.

They're not supposed to be good-looking, they're supposed to be A list!!! Didn't you notice how glamourous their lives are?
