He WAS the Hero.

reply

Because he couldn't fit? He didn't stay because he wanted to.

reply

At least he helped push everyone up before him. He could have tried to go through the opening and waste time for others to go out.

reply

time was infinite in this POS movie

reply

Right. He went last because he knew it would take longer to get him out, but then they ran out of time. I'd call him a hero, although a reluctant one that had no choice but to be one.

You know why he was the hero? Because he was the kindest person on the elevator.

Almost everyone else in there were giant tools.

Little girl: Obvious brat, responsible for the whole thing, at one point she kept repeating "It's all my fault" and she couldn't have been more right.

Old Rich Guy: Selling bonds that were knowingly worthless just to line his pockets. Greed!

Jewish Guy: Just a general prick, especially when berating the Iranian Security Guard with prejudice verbal assaults.

Old Woman: No explanation needed she carried the bomb.

Young thin white guy: Cheated with another woman.

Young blonde white girl: Participated in the cheating.

Reporter girl: More concerned with her story when she's stuck on an elevator with a freaking bomb, typical news reporter.

Only decent human beings in this were the Iranian Security Guard and The Fat guy.

i thought it was weird that the reporter had her mother on the phone and didn't like say she was probably going to die and sorry for everything I've done and I love you. I was really expecting a goodbye call, I mean that's your MOTHER on the phone and you're gonna get blown up. And she didn't do that. it was weird.

But I agree that the "Fat Guy" and the Iranian were the only really decent people there. He did help others out and look how eager they were to get out and leave everyone behind. Actually out of all the Thin People who got out, ONLY Axelrod gave a *beep* that the Fat Guy was still stuck. Seriously. What does that say about thin people, then?

I am the softly falling snow.

that wasn't the mother- that was MARTHA, a person who worked there. And lol sigh, i cried when the fat guy died

reply

I also thought she said "Mother!"

reply

Damn right he was.

reply

i think that the heroe was the one who lost his arm

reply

You could argue the little girl was the heroine.

If she hadn't have pressed the button maybe more people would have died.
Although the bomb wasn't particularly powerful so perhaps not.
