I'm just not into it. Chris Elliott has always been a spare
and this show is about as funny as Scrubs was. I don't get the appeal.
Like Childrens Hospital and that other douchebag who has a show called Check It Out With Dr Steve Brule - John Reilly , adult swims late night comedies suck.

You just named 3 of the funniest shows on TV right now and you do not like them which says lots about you. I think Larry the Cable Guy might be what you are looking for. You have awful taste in comedy if you do not think Eagleheart and Check it out with Steve Brule are brilliantly funny. I know everyone has different opinions on what is funny.... but you sir are an humorless drip.

shareEagleheart is one of the only clever and funny live-action shows in the Adult Swim line-up. Or one of the only clever and funny shows in their entire line-up. It's down to this and The Mighty Boosh for good non-animated programming. The cartoons haven't been faring much better, thank goodness we still have Venture Bros. I can understand that it's not for everyone, Chris Elliot's style is very different, but that's what makes his shows unique, and I legitimately enjoy most of his episodes greatly. Now if we could just get Cartoon Network to dump everything with Seth MacFarlane's stink on it and go back to trying to make shows like Sealab 2021, we might have a great Adult Swim again.
shareI just finished season 2 and I have to disagree! a friend recommended this, and his other recommendations have SUCKED (Tim and Eric, Baskets, etc.). I have always liked Elliot, so I was hoping this wouldn't take the stupid road those other shows did! luckily, it did not. each episode is almost totally a stand-alone; which I like. and, each episodes is so outrageously funny that I can't help but to love it! it's absurdest, but also uses traditional humor in refreshing ways. I can't find anything to complain about!
