Japan's Piece of the Paranormal Pie

I just saw the trailer to this and even though I can't understand a thing they were saying, it still looks terrible.

I'm all for ghost movies with a video camera since I really liked the original PA and even Blair Witch Project, for that matter. But if you are going to make a trailer for it, it better entice me.

Paranormal Activity: Tokyo Night didn't entice me. However, I'm willing to watch it if I ever get my hands on it.

It did one thing right. Even though the rest of the trailer is trash, the last part of the trailer was pretty cool. I hated admitting that but when they showed that girl in what looks to be a basement and you hear the familiar footsteps of the demon and the camera pans over to what you think might be the demon.... well that was pretty cool.

Other than that.... yeah.

It's definitely going to be better than both american movies put together though. Japanese cinema is always far superior than american cinema and horror cinema is one where Japan excels.

I just saw it and would place it right beside P.A. 2: a good sequel, but not as constructive and new as the first. But worth the ticket.

I just watched this movie and it's no better than the other PA movies. In fact, this might as well be Paranormal Activity dubbed in Japanese - its just that similar and completely unoriginal.
