Fox is really feeling the Karma now
Last may 2011 Fox had a cancellations that nicknamed "Bloodbath". In Fall they gave 2 time slot to X-Factor. Invested whole lot money into Terra Nova. Filled their mi season schedule with Alcatraz, The Finder, and Touch. As of right now their Lineup is even weaker in the ratings than last year. Terra Nova and Alcatraz started off with decent premieres ratings than eventually dove. The Finder was after American Idol after it's premiered after Bones. It was unable to bring in boost to it's ratings was sent to Fridays to die. Actually enjoyed The Finder it has certain depth Fox has done with one it's shows since The Chicago Code. Like most critics said it's like a Well executed USA network show. Which USA network hasn't been unable to reproduce since Burn Notice.
None of their new pilots seems like they have much potential. Even the one with Kevin Bacon hunting serial killers. Dexter is the standard for how to do drama about serial killer. Even though it has been lacking in the last couple of seasons. I don't think this pilot will be anywhere half as good.
As for the two new CIA espionage drama. I know everyone uses Alias as the standard and some say if not fair because Alias became more of a Sci Fi show in its later season. If one or both picked up they need to look at Under-covers and most J.J Abrams work since Lost on how not to execute a show.
