Continuum Promos! looks better than Alcatraz

No it doesn't look better than Alcatraz's first promos.

Continuum has an interesting, albeit no very original premise. Many people thought of Alcatraz's premise and compared when they first heard about Continuum.

I am looking forward to Continuum, was hoping to see Rachel Nichol's "bionic powers" in the promo. But in the end, especially after Alcatraz, it's the execution of the season that counts.

I still want a season 2 of Alcatraz though, cause the premise and potential is just unexplored. And a revived Rebecca, presumably with some special power or destiny, would be so much more interesting. I almost hope they had shot her in the first episode and then establish that cause she's a true Madsen yada yada yada she has that weird healing blood or something. Then she would have been a much more interesting protagonist from the get go. Like Frigne's Olivia, or Continuum's Kiera.

It looks lame.

There's not much to go on here. Both are extremely short. They set up the protagonist and antagonistic roles, but not much else. I've been disappointed with most of SyFy's offerings ever since they canceled Stargate Universe. I might try it just to see how the execution is, but I typically hate these generic archetypes. Character drama and grey territory is more important to me than fantastical battles of good versus evil.
