Proper ending?

Thinking about seeing this show, but I want to know did it end on a cliffhanger, did it get a proper ending or something in between?

And quite a brutal cliffhanger at that. Cancellation was a huge disappointment,almost nothing was resolved, of anything at all.

It was such a cliffhanger it made investing your time in the entire show pointless.

I had not even heard of this show until today and came here to ask the same question. Thanks for beating me to it, and thank you also to those that answered. Guess I won't waste my time.

Too bad, the trailer I just saw showed lots of promise.
