The "obviously CGI" style shots were not needed

I mean, the camera going thru the windshield? Like, plop! And it's inside. Wtf? Why was this even needed? So ridiculous it's distracting.

The CGI itself is quite good actually. Just the type / style of the shot is mind boggling. Is this Charlie's Angels movie or something?

Camera going through the windshield? What are you talking about?

reply

When the band were in the bus, the camera shot the bus from way ahead then moved closer and closer to the bus' windshield. Instead of a cut, the camera simply went THROUGH the windshield to get into the bus' interior. Which was obviously CGI. An uneeded CGI shot.

Clever shot. Entertaining. Nothing wrong with it at all.

reply

Clever in Charlie's Angels (2000) not very clever in the year 2018.

reply

Okay.

It's a reference to the song Keep Passing the Open Windows.
