Sacha Baron Cohen wanted to make a different movie, with lots of hardcore gay sex in it, the other band members didn't want this, if you watch his other movies(Borat, Bruno, Grimsby) there are all sorts of outrageous gay scenes there.

That is nonsense. He was never going to do that. He wanted to make a more realistic film that didn't shy away from the less family friendly aspects of Freddie's life. It would have been a much better film. All the other band members cared about is money.

It should have been SOMEBODY besides Rami Malek. That guy was boooooring as Freddie ! He was obviously out of his league when it came to the on stage performances and he is just incapable to connecting with an audience on the intimate scenes.

I would have loved to see it with Borat. Not a 100 percent sure it would be good but i would definitely be excited about the prospect
