Your Amityville horror? Mine more like...

I watched this last night and wasnt impressed. Someone posted, "why would he keep quiet for all these years?"
Maybe because he doesn't have a lot to say, he sheds very little light on the incident and seems to become agitated when challenged on any aspect.

It would have been good to hear Chris and Missie's versions but maybe, like Danny, their memories would be sketchy at best or maybe nothing happened at all. I cant recall anything from when I was ten.
George Lutz really doesnt come out of this very well and Danny isnt the first person to say they found him manipulative. James Brolin got the impression that George had drilled the kids so that they would give the right answer whenever they were questioned on a certain event. Someone else said that he was a great salesman etc.
It's a bit sad, really and it's no way Danny's fault.
Overall, I get the impression that the real horror happened AFTER they left the house when they had to deal with the publicity.

One final note, it has Lorraine Warren in it. If you want to see an unintentionally hilarious scene, this could be right up your street!
Watch only if you're an Amityville Horror nut.
