The title isn't a correct translation

This is nit-picking, I know, but the French word "livide" does not translate as "livid" but as "pallid" which is much more in keeping with the plot of the film. I've seen postings about the bad English subtitles but I haven't had any problems with them. Did people get the French DVD or a pirated copy of the film?

When it was going to be an English-language film the title was originally "Livid" so that's probably the correct translation.

reply

Who would want to watch a film called Pallid?

reply

It should've been called Tepid.
