I'm trying to rate it but it doesn't seem to be working...

I like click on the "169 users" link next to the rating and it takes me to a page where I can vote, but then I vote and it still says 169 users.

I really want to give it a ten to offset all these bad ratings! Sure, it needs to work on plotting more, but the characters are really well formed and I'm always surprised at how clever the dialogue is. Can we like band together to improve the imdb rating guys?

I think something screwy is going on with the votes. I just checked the voting percentages, and the overall rating should be MUCH higher than what it is!

It takes a day for the IMDb rating to update. It's not automatic.

And to the other poster, IMDb has a specific method of creating an average, as written in the help section.
