Huh, whats the difference between the movie and the show?

I just realize there is a show about this with already 2 seasons... but does it follow after the movie or something? Im kinda curious since the movie pretty much wrap itself, despise Kate Todd's character who kept living.

Alice is the worst character of all time, she need to die in the last movie. Chris/Jill are RE !!!

Yeah, the show continues on after the events of the movie.

It's a continuation of the movie. There was never supposed to be a difference
