i did have my initial doubts about the show but I will admit that it is actually a lot better than I expected it to be. Too bad that it didn't get another chance, since it would have been nice to have seen a 2nd season with more than 10 episodes. I doubt that another network would pick it up.
shareI watched "GCB" this summer in a fairly short timeframe instead of throughout the season. I too wish it had had been extended another season just to get some of the stories resolved. The series looked fairly costly so maybe the cost versus the ratings made the network cancel the show after ten shows.
The show's content was heavily involved in Ms. Chenoweth, who is a busy actress and who quickly found another role elsewhere (the other actors I am sure have been hired for other series, film or theatre).
