How could Alligators plan work anyway? spoilers

So Alligator threatens the four people on the plane with harsh punishments if they dont do as he pleases. He says he can kill any family member or friend the four ppl have. How is it possible that Alligator has so many helpers who are willing to torture and kill innocent people for him? As we learn the killings are "live" there must be at least 4 or 5 killers around simultaneously, or more, all over the country.

I guess this was when the film went over the top.

He killed the friends in advance and was showing them recordings of their deaths, which is how their bodies are in the luggage hold. It's explained near the end when they break in to the luggage hold.

reply

ah, ok, I missed that part. Was wondering who the bodies were, hehe.

How did he afford the private jet?.....

reply

I don't think he owned the plane - It was owned by "Deppart Airlines". He had the pilots family hostage so that's how he was getting the pilot to do what he wanted.

reply

^ yeah I think that explains how he managed to acquire the jet

How could Alligator have possibly known which of the passengers would have forfeited or failed their assignments?
He had no way of knowing who to kill. For example, if Jo had failed the assignment (which I assume was killing "Max"), then that meant that Sophie would have been killed. But she wasn't killed in advance, so how could Alligator know she would complete her task. If she hadn't, he couldn't have shown Sophie dying.

Umm... Jo's mother was dead in the luggage compartment.
So if Jo had broken any rule, he could have shown her that death.
He probably killed someone of Gwen's too, just they never showed it.

As for Sophie, there are any number of options he could do. He could just "pretend" to kill her (which he recorded in advance).

They did show a death to Gwen, her sister was burned alive. I remember coz my bfs scared of it so I had to tell him when to come out from behind his cushion, lol

why did he keep the bodies on the plane in the first place? how did he get them ON the plane? is there no airport security at all where they started?

How could the bodies have smelled to begin with ? They were wrapped in plastic and most of them (like her mother) killed only hours earlier...

In fact, how did he kill the mother and the fiancé (both said goodbye just prior to them leaving for the airport) ànd get both their bodies on the plane so fast ?

Logistically, the whole thing is simply impossible...

When I'm gone I would like something to be named after me. A psychiatric disorder, for example.

Now that is a GOOD question!

Just about the first thing that Max does when he breaks into the luggage compartment is complain about the smell.

Did you even watch the movie?
