Banned in Australia

Just announced - this film has been banned in Australia.

Haven't seen it - but will now do so to see what the fuss down under is all about.

The Australian Classification Board is one of the biggest jokes going around. Their inconsistency is hilarious. Apparently slashing zombies (Left4Dead2) is bad for you, but going on a killing spree within a populated area and slashing innocent/armed humans to pieces (Fallout 3/New Vegas) is OK.

But I'm not fussed. Always good to see them indirectly supporting piracy.

It's not and if they happen to find and seize it, then you can face walloping fines, but at the same time, it's unlikely they'll catch you.

Depends on what you're willing to risk

In a way I can understand why it was banned, because the movie is EXTREMELY tasteless, but yeesh...didn't they get that it's all a joke?

reply

It's not illegal to buy the movie for private home use, only to sell or rent it.

He knows it, because its Australian Law, when a film is banned, you can leagally own it, just sell it or show publically.

I just rented this from Quickflix. Don't think it's an edited version as the running time is the same as listed here. Looks like the petition worked.

There is a few shots cut in one scene where Chris Fuchman does somethingwith his penis, cutting it off or something, don't know what he does exactly, haven't seen the uncut version That's the only cut i know of.

I'll be back
