Not funny, not clever and not knowledgeable about the genres spoofed
Hugely disappointed. This is Troma-level stuff.
AVOID!
SCTV used to do this kind of thing so much better.

You do realize that the drive-in is named after Lloyd Kaufman, founder of Troma.

Not no, but hell no.
"Have you ever had... an Egyptian Feast?"
Troma-level????!!!!
Why would you insult Troma by comparing it to high school drama class crap like this? Had any of these people actually seen a drive-in flick before, or were they too busy blowing each other in the back row?
I have nothing against camp (in fact I like a lot of it), but this pile of steaming crap was more like an attempt at making more musical swill than a drive-in exploitation flick.
"Have you ever had... an Egyptian Feast?"
It is beyond awful. It is not funny or campy.
shareAgreed. It dragged on too. I was actually bored.

You've just convinced me to see it!
WHOA, HEY
Let's not say things we can't take back. Troma doesn't deserve such a mean-spirited comparison.
I genuinely loved this! I grew up watching Troma and actually thought this was better, not to knock Troma, because I do like some of their movies like the first Toxic Avenger.
I thought each film had a fun ode to different films I can clearly recognize!
It is by far one of my favorties!
