What happened to this show? Cancelled?

IMDB says it's still going but there haven't been episodes since 2013. I really liked it. Want to see more. :-(

Most cartoon series are geared to last about two seasons.

reply

It's not going to happen. The Show stinks anyways.

reply

It's FAR better than that horrendous WABBIT.

reply

Sitcom style is better than slapstick style? You know, the style where the Looney Tunes were REALLY were? I don't see how TLTS is better than Wabbit.

reply

Well, it has Daffy, Porky, Speedy Gonzales, Sylvester and Tweety, Granny, the Tasmanian Devil, etc.
WABBIT'S co-stars are an annoying squirrel, an insufferable Yosemite Sam (with most of his teeth missing) a pompous Wile E. Coyote, and an extremely stupid Abominable Snowman!

Plus the art and animation of TLTS was FAR superior.

reply

The art of TLTS mops the floor with the style from Wabbit. NEITHER of those art styles are alluring enough to match the greatness of the 1950's art style of the Looney Tunes. I mean making Bugs Bunny Purple... are you serious?! Not even Season 2 of The Looney Tunes Show can't even save it enough. Heck, none of the artists are not even great enough to match closely to them. You can't just draw them exactly as how you want them to, because it's lazy and uneducated.

Sitcom style is better than slapstick style?

I don't know, but funny sure is better than not funny.

reply

Slapstick style is funny all around. Looney Tunes works better with that style because that's what they're about. They need to be Slapstick comedy, not some absurd sitcom genre of The Looney Tunes. They're way funnier as slapstick genre, sorry but that's what everybody prefers.

Obviously not when it's handled by people who don't know what they're doing, no.
Here's something you clearly missed as to why the originals were great: It was extremely violent and you could almost feel it.

See this:

In wabbit, there's zero weight behind the punches, so to speak. Everything looks weak.

And even if they did somehow manage to recapture what made the originals great, I still don't think it would be better than "The Looney Tunes Show".

I don't mind evolution, when it's done right.

When the wind of change blows, some people build walls, others build windmills.

There were plenty of reasons on why the originals were great. You're also missing the fact that the animation made by artists chuck Jones, Bob Clampett, Tex Avery and Friz Freleng. The jokes were another reason they made them great, because at one point you make assumptions of what might happen, but then at the next moment it comes out as something wrong. I'm not saying ALL of the shorts do because there is dishonorable shorts that weren't funny as they were, or just plain not funny at all (e.g. most of the 60's cartoons). They happen one of the other.

Here's the truth here: The gags are only the surface level, and what really sets them apart is where they put an amount of work into the character. That process took a while.

This stuff is the real majorities on why the classics are better than ANY OTHER Looney Tune incarnations, and I'm really sorry to burst your bubble buddy, but this includes The Looney Tunes Show and Wabbit. NEITHER of those shows matches those greatness on what it made the originals great. Ever wonder why people like June Foray complain about the sitcom format of the Looney Tunes? They can't even be serious with them.

In wabbit, there's zero weight behind the punches, so to speak. Everything looks weak.

Ahem, isn't that because almost EVERY Looney Tune incarnation looked? Baby Looney Tunes was weak, The Looney Tunes Show was weak, and the Loonatics cartoon was weak, because it doesn't match the originals well. Surprisingly enough: Wabbit, on the other hand, has the slapstick feel! It finally became something that what everybody wanted! I mean sure there were flaws like cheap jokes and the hideous art style, but the important part is it's slapstick humor. It was not as clever as the originals were, but it's still slapstick humor. With that, it's far more better than them being in a sitcom. Sitcoms DO NOT fit for Looney Tunes at all. You may think they do, but they do not.

Let me tell you something, this is about Looney. Tunes. you can't make Looney. Tunes. as babies, play basketball with MJ or being reduced into a stupid sitcom format they were forced to be reduced to. By doing so, all they want from all of the fans is just controversy. It's what made shows like Baby Looney Tunes and The Looney Tunes Show forgettable.

And even if they did somehow manage to recapture what made the originals great, I still don't think it would be better than "The Looney Tunes Show".

...you do realize saying that is kind of like saying "Even if it's like the Dragonball Z cartoons, I still don't think it will be better than Dragonball GT".

Absolutely not, no.
We either didn't see the same cartoons, or you never even understood what made them good, and in that case, at this point there's definetly no hope for you to ever understand.

No, but I do realize your comparison is extremely stupid, though.
So that's something, I guess.
If you were trying to convince me that talking to you was a complete waste a time, you sure made your point.

EDIT: Yep, you gave Space Jam 10/10. Definetly no point talking to you.
Either a troll or a complete moron.

You have absolutely no idea how much you've made me laugh, kid. I've gave out my valid points and research on why The Looney Tunes were great cartoons from the original and you flat out denied it like a total moron. Oh, the freaking irony! I'm not the one understanding, but you failed to understand what I'm trying to say here, mamoru-sama. You need to look clearly at what I've said before you start spewing out senseless comebacks. If you TLTS supporters believe this is pretty much the best comeback you can come up with people who knows completely better than you do, then of course we've never seen the same cartoons. Heck, I don't even WANNA see what cartoon you're watching, because it's remedial. You'll never understand ANYTHING because you failed to spot the other facts on why the originals were great. You would just rather have them be in some stupid looking sitcom thingy they were put into.

No, but I do realize your comparison is extremely stupid, though.

Well, you can't even elaborate on how my comparison is dumb. That or you're just even dumber. I dunno. I don't even know what's wrong with you.

You're not worth of my time either, so be smart and don't reply to me then.
