Hmmm when he cut the bad guy his sword cut through the armor like swiss cheese.

This movie is supposed to take place around 600 BCE or so. What was the state of metallurgy back then? Aren't we just starting to transition to iron weaponry?

In any case it didn't look like the armor the soldiers wore was much good for anything; didn't seem to protect them at all.
