I just so happened to stop the movie right as GG was running into the kitchen and saw a naked beaver in all its glory. Which makes what we saw at the beginning clearly just a merkin.

Go back to the beginning and do a frame-by-frame and you can clearly see the seams of the merk. 

To me knowing fury beavers is just about unheard for long time now, it's lame to show furry beavers
