Like a party where host desperately trying to revive bored guests

I agree 100%. All the actors just read their lines. And the writing sucked so the actors couldn't just rest on good writing. Terrible movie.

Oh god, this movie was terrible. I love Pierce and I liked the supporting cast as well, but the dialogue was painfully bad. A film about a Cambridge Lit professor and that was the best they could do??
