It's just "Ew". It litters the story making it less enjoyable and limits the range of people willing to watch it.

The R rating automatically tells people that children won't like it, and would probably say things like, "Ew" if they did.

shareDespite its obvious flaws, I liked the film and had a few chuckles. It was entertaining and amusing. It had no villain, no graphic violence and no blaring musical sound track. I would agree that some of the language was excessive. However the literary quotes were music to my ears. Although the romantic narrative was somewhat predictable, I enjoyed the frequent surprises.
